Directed and created a series of short films around the profiles of Right Livelihood Award Laureates. This prize is often called the ‘Alternative Nobel’ and recognises the actions of brave visionaries who build impactful connections around the world.

Created the editorial guidelines for the Right Livelihood Award Laureate films for the continuing series to be produced.

My film about Asma Jahangir was tweeted by both Alan Rusbridger, former editor of the Guardian, and Edward Snowden.

Johan Galtung was born to Norwegian parents in 1930. He has had an international academic career spanning 70 years, five continents, a dozen major positions and over 30 Visiting Professorships, 160 books and more than 1,600 published monographs and articles. He received the Right livelihood Award in 1987 for "his systematic and multidisciplinary study of the conditions which can lead to peace."

Asma Jahangir was Pakistan’s leading human rights lawyer. For three decades, she showed incredible courage in defending the most vulnerable Pakistanis – women, children, religious minorities and the poor. Asma Jahangir received the Right Livelihood Award in 2014 "for defending, protecting and promoting human rights in Pakistan and more widely, often in very difficult and complex situations and at great personal risk."

András Biró and the Hungarian Foundation for Self-Reliance received the Right Livelihood Award in 1995 "for their resolute defence of Hungary's Roma minority and effective efforts to aid their self-development". In this video, Biró talks about how empowerment of the Roma community can help overcome discrimination and promote development.
